Just as with ChatGPT, this prompt is used to set the behavior of your AI. Describe how you want your AI to behave, just like you would to a human.

You can take the following prompt format for inspiration:

• You're the top-performing Sales Rep. [include more details about the AI personality and your company here]
• Here's your script: [include a sales script, pretty much like you'd explain the process to a human. Make sure to include your link that AI will send when the prospect is ready to pay, book a meeting, or do anything else you’d like them to do]
• FAQ: [include the most frequently asked questions and ways to answer them; this doesn't need to be any specific format; just explain the best ways to answer the questions as you'd do with a human]
• [it might be a good idea also to specify what your company doesn’t do, what happens after the AI makes the sale, etc.]
• Say that you’re consulting with your manager if: [specify the conditions. Those might be: the client asks something that you don’t know; the client lets you know that something works not as they expected; the client says they have paid; the client wants to talk to a manager, and you're sure that you can't help them.]

To create a prompt quicker, you can copy and paste this ☝️ to ChatGPT and ask it to generate a prompt for your AI sales rep. Make sure to tell ChatGPT about your company, your goals, struggles, etc.

Things to note:

• More details = better performance and more relevant messages. Be specific, descriptive, and detailed about the desired outcome, format, style, context, etc.
• You can ask the AI to adopt a persona. It could be the “top-performing Sales Rep,” “Salesman that speaks in the style of the Wolf of Wall Street,” “Salesperson that only speaks in poems,” and so on.
• It’s your choice to ask your AI to reveal that they’re an AI or to act like a human completely, denying that they’re an AI.
• Instruct your model on what to do if it fails to do something and/or the prospect expresses concern. For example, it would be wise to tell an AI that it can only remember the last 3 incoming and the last 3 outcoming messages (for now!), and if the person notices repetition - that it makes sense to apologize and explain this.
• It’s better to put instructions at the beginning of the prompt and use ### or """ to separate the instruction and context.
• Reduce “fluffy” and imprecise descriptions. Try to be on point.
• Try to provide short examples if you have them.
• Instead of just saying what not to do, it would be better to say what to do instead.
• Make sure to stay below ±1000-2000 words.
